HAPPY SATURDAY, LOVES…
Where to find the black bow shoes!: BLACK BOW SHOES
WELL … it is 85 degrees here in San Diego, and I’m inside doing a blog post… This will be a quickie… its so beautiful here outside, I need some vitamin D!
So back to Nashville. I wanted to put together a travel diary and guide to all of my favorite spots, including my fave hotel, new restaurants and locations to shoot for those of you who are thinking about going!
Hope you enjoy 🙂… and are having the best weekend so far!
WHERE TO STAY:
The Omni Hotel
So to be transparent… this is not where I booked by hotel…. I stayed at….. but the one I was salivating over, and kicked myself as soon as I walked in wishing I had stayed there. This place is absolutely gorgeous, and one of the coolest hotels I’ve seen in much of my travel!
… This may well be one of the more unique hotels I’ve visited and it . And by unique, I mean like in the most AMAZING way. This place has a gorgeous chandelier when you walk in, huge ceilings, breathtaking restaurants through out… and also connects to the Country Music Hall of Fame (also a must see) The Omni hotel is located downtown (and super close to The Gulch area) and is adorned with posh furniture throughout. The building is a piece of art in itself.. so beautiful and modern in every way possible.
Two things I loved about this hotel besides the gorgeous furniture… (Think classic with a mix inventive contemporary touches… is the bathrooms bathtubs (see photo below) and the cool restauants located throughout. I literally think you do not even need to move from your hotel while staying here… and the Mokara Spa, looks equally amazing. Again, noted…. next time there is an Omni in the city I go to, that will be my go to hotel!

Where to Eat:
Adeles in The Gulch:
Adele’s is a farm to fork restaurant located in The Gulch area of town. One area that I didn’t get to fully explore but would definitely like to hit next time I’m in town. This place is gorrrrgeous….. The menu at Adele’s focuses on seasonal, accessible comfort food sourced from local farms and purveyors. There was literally NOTHING on the menu that didn’t look DELISH!
Locals argue who makes the best hot chicken in town, but there’s no doubt about who did it first. Since the 1930s when Thornton Prince’s scorned girlfriend reputedly attempted to punish his infidelity by loading up his fried chicken with an infernal amount of hot peppers, the Prince family has been spreading their culinary love (and the pain) to thousands. After all these years, Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack finally expanded to two locations, so now you have options as to where you and your guests can feel the burn.
The locals used to look down their noses at the queues of hungry tourists lined up outside the Pancake Pantry in Hillsboro Village, but now it’s this Gulch eatery where the visitors flock. Luckily, breakfast is served all day until it closes at 3pm, so clever customers know to go for a late lunch when lines are shorter — though an East Nasty biscuit and fried chicken sandwich is always worth the wait.
Where to Drink:
This place about covers am to pm needs for everyone! Coffee?…. check! Want to bowl? check!…. Have a cocktail and hang out in the pool thats located next to an airstream that serves food?, yep you can do that too. This place is quite the venue indeed. Gooooo, go, go.
